Now There's a Beauty!

What an amazing semester we have had in Janes Discipleship! We just finished four classes of "Beauty by the Book" by Laurie Cole at 4 out of our 5 Bay Area campuses and we have seen so many beautiful women attending, learning, growing, encouraging one another and serving one another each week! We have also seen many leaders emerging, ready to take the next step in their journey with the Lord!

I know that as a direct result of this study, women's lives have been changed. I have personally seen evidence of marriages radically changed, women equipped with wisdom to handle very difficult situations in their homes and work environments, moms challenged and equipped to set Biblical standards in their parenting to make a difference in the next generation, and women finally finding their place faithfully serving the Lord at Bay Area Fellowship.

If you have not participated in one of our Janes Bible studies before, we hope and pray that next fall, you'll be the first in line to sign up! Be watching for EXPO 09 dates to be announced very soon. At EXPO you'll be able to find out about all the ways you can plug in to Bay Area Janes next semester.

We'll be taking the summer months off to rest and prayerfully seek God's plan for next year! Pray for us and with us and as always, contact us with any questions or ideas you have about Bay Area Janes Women's Ministry.

New Bible Studies Begin!

Hey Girls!
We are beginning Laurie Cole's "Beauty By the Book" Bible study this week at two different times! Join us for one of the best ways to know God more intimately, to make friends, and to experience the kind of change that others can see in you!
It's not too late to join us at the main campus at one of these times:

Monday Evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm beginning March 23

Tuesday Mornings from 9:45-11:45 am
beginning March 24

Both groups will meet at the church upstairs in the Element Student area. The cost of the 7-week-class is $20 and you will receive your book when you arrive. There will also be free childcare by reservation!
This study focuses on the difference between the world's view of beauty and God's description of a beautiful woman in the book of Proverbs. It's a great study for someone who's never done a Bible study before and equally appealing for someone who is a seasoned student of God's Word. Feel free to email me with any questions you have!

Spring Bible Study Sign-Up!

This is the last weekend (January 24-25) we'll have a registration table in the atrium for our Spring Bible Studies. Please come by if you'd like to sign up or have any questions. We've already had a great response and we're very excited about this semester! We also plan to start some other studies later on in the spring, so be sure to watch for those too!

Don't be afraid to take this step even if you've never participated in a Bible study before. Usually at least 50% of our participants are first-timers. This is one of the best ways to really begin to KNOW God intimately and to form close relationships with other women in our church. And studying God's Word gives you the strength and wisdom to change and overcome struggles in your life. I have seen so many women transformed by God during our six weeks together! I can't wait to see what He has in store for us this spring! I'm already praying for you!
